Membership Details

Continuing Care is an in-house dental membership and discount program and is not dental insurance. Membership is valid for 12 months from the date of enrollment and expires at the end of the membership term unless renewed.

All included services and benefits must be used within the active 12-month membership period. Unused services and benefits expire at the end of the membership term, do not roll over, and have no cash value. Membership benefits are non-transferable.

Membership fees are non-refundable once any membership benefit has been used. A membership is considered used upon receiving any included service, preferred member savings, or other membership benefit. Once used, no full or partial refunds will be issued, regardless of how much time remains in the 12-month membership period or whether any included services remain unused.

Membership cannot be combined with dental insurance benefits, other discount plans, or promotional offers. Preferred savings apply to eligible treatment provided at New Canaan Dental Arts and do not apply to services provided by referred specialists.

Membership renews annually only with patient authorization. Fees, included services, and program benefits are subject to change upon renewal. Additional terms and limitations may apply.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We know visiting a new dental practice can come with a lot of questions. Whether you're curious about treatments, insurance, or what to expect at your first appointment, we've gathered the answers to some of the most common inquiries to help you feel informed and at ease.

Q:What should I expect at my first visit?

A: comfort, convenience and excellent care.

At your first appointment, we’ll take time to get to know you, review your medical and dental history, and perform a thorough exam and cleaning. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of your oral health and next steps—no guesswork, no surprises.

Q: Do you accept insurance?

A: very soon!

We are currently in the process of becoming in-network with Delta Dental and Cigna! We are estimated to be completely in-network by October 1st, 2025.

In the meantime, we are more than happy to file claims on your behalf. However, please note that reimbursement amounts can vary depending on your specific plan and that, currently, payment is expected at time of service until we are fully in-network.

We also offer an affordable in-house plan that everyone is free to join!

Q:Do you offer same-day emergency appointments?

A: YES!

We understand that dental emergencies are never convenient, so we set aside time each day for urgent visits. If you're experiencing pain, swelling, or a broken tooth, call us right away and we’ll make every effort to see you the same day.

Q: Is Invisalign really as effective as braces?

A: for many patients, Yes!

Invisalign is a discreet and effective way to straighten teeth and correct bite issues. We’ll assess your specific needs during your consultation and let you know if it’s the right treatment for you.
